Meet Amber Delmarter, MA

Answering the call to serve the Lord as a counselor has been one of the greatest choices I’ve ever made. Whether I’m attending to a client in one of their darkest moments or celebrating a goal a client has achieved, I find so much fulfillment in the therapeutic process.

I am a two-time graduate of the University of Georgia. In 2021, I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion. That was followed by my Master of Education in Professional Counseling. Both degrees have prepared me to work as a counselor by increasing my sense of empathy and my desire to help others grow into their full potential.

I specialize in working with children ages 3 and up, helping them navigate the emotional and behavioral challenges that come with growing up. I understand that every child is created uniquely in God’s image, and my approach is tailored to meet their individual needs. Whether it's managing anxiety, coping with trauma, enhancing social skills, or supporting children with developmental or behavioral concerns, I work collaboratively with both children and their families to create a safe and supportive environment.

By utilizing evidence-based techniques such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and family therapy, I aim to ensure that children feel heard and understood while building healthy coping strategies.

My goal is to create a compassionate, safe space where children and families feel supported and empowered on their journey toward emotional well-being. If you’re looking for a therapist who will work collaboratively with you and your child, I encourage you to reach out for a consultation. Together, we can help your child thrive and work towards a healthy future.
