Allison Pace, LPC, NCC

Hello, I'm Allison.

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying burdens that no one else can see. You may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, or simply trying to hold everything together while feeling exhausted inside. If that's where you are, you're not alone.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, burnout, and emotional fatigue. I also have a special interest in working with first responders, helping professionals, and those who spend much of their lives caring for others. Whether you're processing difficult experiences, navigating a major life change, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can provide a space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I take a holistic view of mental health, recognizing that our thoughts, emotions, relationships, physical well-being, and personal values all influence how we experience life. I am EMDR trained and integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and nervous-system-informed interventions to help clients heal from trauma, reduce distress, and build resilience.

I am neurodivergent-affirming and enjoy working with adults with ADHD and autistic adults as they navigate relationships, burnout, anxiety, and everyday life. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or are exploring how your brain works, I strive to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to be yourself.

As a Christian and a pastor's wife, I understand many of the unique challenges that can accompany leadership, service, and life within faith communities. My faith informs my worldview and the way I understand healing, relationships, and human flourishing. At the same time, therapy is always centered on your goals, values, and beliefs. Spiritual or faith-based discussions are entirely client-led, and clients of all backgrounds are welcome and respected.

Above all, I want therapy to be a place where you can show up authentically, without judgment or pretense. Whether you're carrying heavy burdens, seeking greater self-understanding, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my B.A. in Psychology from Armstrong Atlantic State University (now part of Georgia Southern University), continuing on to earn my M.A. in Counseling from Messiah University. I am also trained in EMDR.
