Meet Allison Miller, MA, Counseling Intern
With a professional career in teaching, Allison has served the citizens of Stephens County as an educator for more than 17 years. Her experiences in both family life and public education have given her firsthand insight into the joys and challenges of growth, learning, and resilience—insight that now deeply informs her work as a counselor.
Allison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication from the University of Georgia. She is currently attending Liberty University and is on track to graduate in May 2026 with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As part of her program, she serves as an intern at The Counselor’s Nest, where she provides counseling for clients of all ages.
Guided by her life experiences and biblical worldview, Allison is passionate about serving others through the field of counseling. She seeks to give individuals and families opportunities to grow and achieve their personal goals. While much of her professional background has centered on children, Allison enjoys working with people of all ages and is particularly focused on supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other areas of need.
Married to her husband Matt—a teacher and coach—for 16 years, Allison is also the proud mother of three children. She understands both the busyness of daily life and the importance of boundaries, organization, and balance within the family unit. Outside of work and graduate school, she loves to laugh, go camping with her family and read.
